What’s All The Buzz About?
Just when you think the Republicans have stomped into our lives in the worst way, you find that, no, they have another outrage to inflict on us.
A South Carolina Representative, Ralph Davenport, would make it a felony to sell devices used primarily for sexual stimulation and allow law enforcement to seize sex toys from raided businesses.
Yes folks, with all the problems we have in this world, your use and enjoyment of a sex toy, in your bedroom, is what the Republican’s need to focus on.
Didn’t the Supreme Court rule, with their decision on the Sodomy law, that the Government did not have any business being in our bedrooms or sex lives? Why do the Republicans believe that they are our Daddy’s? I am an adult American. I can decide for myself. If I want to use a sex toy, do any position, have a partner who is the same sex as myself, have multiple partners, at different times or all at once, it nobody’s business except my own and the other consenting adults.
The law says that as an adult, I can make choices about drinking, smoking, voting, where I live, the job I do, travel, my choice of sports, including some which are dangerous, surgery and medicine, join whatever religion I choose, marry, eat badly, not exercise or too much exercise. All of these life choices I can make on my own. But I can’t use a sex toy?
Most adults just do not think about, nor care what their neighbors do in the privacy of their bedrooms. To do so is slightly slimy. There is just so many more important things to get involved with.
The cost of gasoline, the wars, the lies this Administration has used to take us into these wars, the torture of prisoners, the environment, the economy, the poor quality of education, health care. The list is never ending. But people using sex toys is not on anybody’s list, unless you are a prick.

Gee, the Republicans really are the nosey type aren’t they? At least they’ve stopped championing themselves as the Party fighting against big gub’ment — only because they are BIG GOVERNMENT personified. Okay, more like Big Brother, complete with — if one tunes into their vast radio and FOX News propaganda programming — their own special “two-minute hate” expanded to a more complete version, the “24-7-365 of hate.” And yes, Republicans are nosey, too — too damned nosey!
Aside from wanting to know what everyone is reading at the library, demanding that credit card companies turn over receipts from small businesses, tapping phone lines, reading e-mails, spying on vegetarians and Quakers, opening snail-mail, deciding who can and cannot get married, and insisting Google tell Big Brother what people are “googling,” they’ve been busy sticking their nosey noses into America’s sex lives as well.
As I keep saying, Republicans, grow up! You are not my daddy. You are not my spiritual advisor, nor my medical expert. You are not my conscience. You are just a small minded, bigoted, sexually stifled and immature person.
How many times do we have to shout at you, “Stay out of my life!” before you will get the message that we really, really mean it. Quit wasting our time and do your real job.
