Big Brother? No, Big Daddy!

I thought this was what we had parents for! Can’t these people stay out of our lives? Can’t they stay out of our bodies? Can’t they just go away or at least, go to one of the many countries which believe and practice religion tied hand in hand with the government. A Taliban type government perhaps? But not here in America!

In February, the Kansas Supreme Court blocked state’s attorney general, Mr. Kline from invading the medical privacy of 90 women and girls who were treated at two abortion clinics. This week, a federal trial judge in Wichita killed Mr. Kline’s daft idea to require doctors, school counselors and psychotherapists, among others, to report all sexual activity by people under 16, from kissing to sexual intercourse.
A federal judge in Kansas has just dealt another blow to the crusade by the Phill Kline, to restrict abortions under the phony banner of combating child abuse.
In 2003, Mr. Kline issued an advisory opinion that changed the interpretation of Kansas’ law requiring the reporting of child abuse. It made mandatory the reporting of every instance of suspected consensual sex among teenagers of similar ages, including any pregnancy, sexually transmitted disease or request for contraception.{Source}

This is one of the problems which our Founding Fathers had experienced. They had also studied history and knew that human freedoms had never been law or even acknowledged by a religious oriented government. And they spent years fighting, to get us out of the Great Britain Empire and spent years thinking, arguing and writing the greatest document ever.

The only way to defeat these neocoms is to know what our country was founded on and for. Know it so well, that they can not try to get away with turning this into a Theocracy. Keep your religion where it belongs. In your heart, mind, soul, home and church. Keep it completely away from my government.
All of you should be fighting this religious takeover of our government. How many different Christian Churches are there? Each and every one of those sects believe that they have the Only True Religion. This can not be true, of course, but some of them want make their belief systems made into the laws of the land.
How about when you go to church? Friday, Saturday or Sunday? Can you eat meat, all forms of it? Can you work on your Sabbath? Can you drink or smoke? Can you have premarital sex? Can you divorce? Who should be deciding these questions? I believe it is up to you and what you believe. Not any politician, not any demi God, certainly not one of the Mega Church or Televangilist ministers.

Even those of you who are a member of a Christian church. Because who says that those who make these new laws, will be of your church or even believe in the same religious tenants that you do? If you don’t stand up for everyone’s Rights to practice their religion or even to not have a religion, after they take care of those who you might think this world would be better off without, they will come for you.
Isn’t your faith and religion between you and God? Should any man be able to tell you how you should live your life, based on their interpretation of the Bible?

How many American’s have read the Constitution? The Bill of Rights? How many have read the works of these great men or any autobiography about them? You can buy the Constitution in paperback. Do so. Put it in your purse, your pocket or your briefcase. Pull it out and read it when you are bored with life or when you are having to wait.
