The Running Total of the Iraq War

They keep telling us that we can not afford Health Care Coverage for every American. Even though every other Industrial Nation has it. Why not? Could it be that we spend as much on military spending as all the other Industrial Nations combined? Is it that we keep waging wars all over the world? It is time to change this! The American people should always come first. After all, it is our money which is being wasted on all of this.

Taxpayers in California will pay $40.6 billion for the cost of war in Iraq. For the same amount of money, the following could have been provided: 16,850,732 People Receiving Health Care

Taxpayers in California will pay $1.2 billion for ballistic missile defense in FY2006. For the same amount of money, the following could have been provided: 510,004 People Receiving Health Care

Taxpayers in California will pay $2.3 billion for nuclear weapons in FY2006. For the same amount of money, the following could have been provided: 933,290 People Receiving Health Care. {Look}
