Where Were the Weapons Inspectors?
Once again, Mr. Bush has lied to the American people. In his press conference last Tuesday, he stated that “He and the world had demanded that Mr. Saddam Hussein let in the weapons inspectors and Mr. Hussein would not. And that is why we had to go to war with Iraq”.
Don’t ever forget, that even though on March 30, 2002, 11 days into the war, Mr. Rumsfeld said in an ABC News interview when asked about WMDs: “We know where they are. They’re in the area around Tikrit and Baghdad and east, west, south and north somewhat.” Covers all the earth. So he was technically speaking the truth, but as for the question of where they were in Iraq, not very specific. And our troops never found them. In four years of presumably looking for them, weapons of mass destruction have never been found in Iraq.
The truth is the only thing worth having, and, in a civilized life, like ours, where so many risks are removed, facing it is almost the only courageous thing left to do.
~E.V. Lucas~
The weapon inspectors were let back into Iraq by Mr. Hussein. They were allowed free access to all of Iraq. They only left because Mr. Bush told them to. Why would Mr. Bush remove the weapons inspectors? Because his war was about to start.
How many times is this man going to be allowed to continue to lie to us before someone yells that the Emperor has no clothes?
Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
~Bible~ John 8:32
Where is the media? When such a bald faced lie is stated to them, one that has been proven to be a lie, in answer to a question, why doesn’t one of them, just one stand up and say, “Excuse me, but that is a lie”! State the facts and make them respond to the truth. Where are the Senators and Congressmen demanding that all members of this Administration, come before Congress, be sworn in and answer truthfully all these lies which they have used to justify this war, in the past and today?
When a man lies, he murders some part of the world.

If it is a crime for me to lie to the Government, surely it should be a crime for the Government to lie to us. They don’t have to tell us about troop movements, any subject which truly is National Security, (might need a three panel court to decide this), but they certainly have the obligation to be truthful to us.
Mr. Ritter, Former United Nation’s weapons inspector, who resigned from the United Nations in 1998, (He was a Marine before becoming a U.N. weapons inspector), said: “We Went To War Based On A Lie” in a speech before several hundred people at the University of Colorado Wednesday night
“The foundation of our involvement in Iraq is as corrupt as you can possibly imagine. We went to war on a lie.” Mr. Ritter went on to say he thought it was his job to uncover the truth in Iraq and find weapons of mass destruction during the 1990’s.
“So when you hear that ‘we believe there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq,’ I’m here to tell you right now, the CIA knew that there were no weapons of mass destruction,” he said.
Honesty is the first chapter of the book of wisdom.

I thought it was a sin to lie. How so many Christian’s can believe in this liar, this man who proclaims to be a devote, born again Christian, who lies with both commission and omission, both of which are sins in the Christian belief system, is unfathomable to me.
It is impossible to calculate the moral mischief, if I may so express it, that mental lying has produced in society. When a man has so far corrupted and prostituted the chastity of his mind as to subscribe his professional belief to things he does not believe he has prepared himself for the commission of every other crime.
~Thomas Paine~
