I Confess, I Did It!

What other person can appear on Television and confess: “Yes, I did this crime, not once but over thirty times. And I will do it again” and he is not arrested?

The way to get away with this, as with all the other crimes and lies, is to play the FEAR CARD. Yes, I did do this illegal act, but I had to do it to keep all of us safe. And besides, I have the authorization from Congress to do this, which I say the Congress gave me in 2002.

Sounds wise to many people. Except, Mr. Bush started spying on Americans in January 2001 and so Mr. Bush, you were breaking this law in 2001, well before Congress could have given you authorization.That is nine months before we were attacked, which he and his Administration have used as an excuse for every action they have undertaken, in direct violation of the law.

This law which Mr. Bush violated, was specifically passed to stop this abuse by Presidents after Mr. Nixon’s many assaults on the Constitution and the American people.

It seems that all they have taken from us, one of these is our Constitutional Protection from our Government’s intrusion into our private lives and it still has not made us safer.

And still we were attacked.

Maybe the only way to truly make us safe, is to lock all of us up in individual cells.

Or just maybe, it is they who need to be locked up!
